Up for a Good Laugh?
During a time when everything is closing (even my new favorite spa where I had a champagne pedicure done a few weeks ago and had posted about here closed earlier this month) from people facing foreclosures to restaurants to retailers that have been around for 20 years, everyone can you a little pick-me-up. Therefore, I thought it would be an ideal time to do something on the different places to catch a good laugh or two, or even partake in some stand up comedy starring no one else, but you.
Here’s a round up of what to do and where to go:
- Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre with locations in West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This popular night spot features some of the country’s hottest stand up comics, up and coming talent and even offers classes for those searching for their dream.
- Miami Science Museum – Not just for science anymore! Every Saturday night they present a themed comedy show featuring a Whose Line is it Anyway meets Saturday Night Live type show.
- Laughing Matterz – located in Fort Lauderdale guests enjoy a gourmet meal followed by a 5-star comedy show.
- They Improv – This is a corporate comedy show that performs for both top companies and for charities. They also offer team building exercises that center around – comedy.
