Gamers ?! Are you Ready For the Wii-kend?
On your marks, get set and make your way down to the Miami Seaquarium this weekend for the Best Buy wii-kend. Pairing up with Best Buy, the Seaquarium will be holding Nintendo Wii competitions this weekend and the follow two weekends from 11:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Miami Seaquarium is offering a 20% discount during the promotion through Best Buy and discount coupons will be available at Best Buy locations throughout Miami-Dade County. Participants must pre-register on the day of the competition and space is limited. Here’s what the schedule looks like for the next 3 weeks:
- Saturday and Sunday, July 19th-20th: Contestants will compete at Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. The winner will take home a brand new Nintendo Wii.
- Saturday and Sunday, July 26th-27th: Participants will have the chance to show off their racing skills in Mario Kart Wii as they do laps in hopes of receiving the grand prize of a brand new Nintendo Wii gaming system.
- Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd-3rd: Guitar III Hero here we come. Whoever has the most points over the weekend, will receive a title crown and a brand new Rock Band game.
