Starbucks Offers Free Coffee on Tuesday
And you knew there was a reason you voted. Well, yes there are many reasons, but now you can add another one to the list. Starbucks is offering a free tall-sized brewed coffee to anyone that votes on Tuesday. How will they know? In most cases, they will just take your word. So go, get out there and vote, and enjoy a nice, hot cup of coffee.
For those of you that missed it, here’s a replay of the commercial that played on Saturday Night Live regarding their special offer.

Besides this being blatant commercial spam, bribing people to either vote or not vote in an election is both a federal and state offense.
To the commenter above (who apparently chose to be anonymous because he knew his statement was idiotic):
It’s not a bribe, it’s a kick to the pants. Not voting in this county is pathetic. The only thing worse is people like you that don’t want people to vote. Give me a break.
If it were up to me, there should be some consequence to not voting — such as not being able to collect your income tax return.
As much as you Republicans talk about “country first” you should be the first ones trying to get new voter turnout. But you don’t because you’re a dying breed and you know that new voters overwhelmingly support Barack Obama and otherwise progressive candidates.
Good luck trying to suppress the vote, Sir, it won’t work this time. The stakes are too high.
