Back in July, I blogged about the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach. This art and culture center is a great place to escape to the serene outdoors, to take part in the tea ceremonies and to enjoy the current exhibits. They also host some fabulous events including one that is taking place this weekend, called Sushi and Sail with Taishi.

As much as I complain about Bank of America month after month, I still manage to give them my business. Why? Initially it was convenience as I used to be able to do my grocery shopping and my banking in the same trip, but that stopped years ago when Publix closed the B of A in my local store, but I’m still there.

Tonight, I just got back from DCOTA.  They were introducing the Porsche kitchen. Quite fabulous I might add. If you are trying to describe luxury, this kitchen defines it, and it is targeted primarily towards men. The cabinets easily open, and may surprise you when you relax and lean up against it. They also feature a docking station for electronic devices, a built-in TV and electronic controls for cabinets, drawers and the drain stopper. On your marks, get set and make your way down to the Miami Seaquarium this weekend for the Best Buy wii-kend. Pairing up with Best Buy, the Seaquarium  will be holding Nintendo Wii competitions this weekend and the follow two weekends from 11:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens was developed in 1977. Ever since that time, it has been a center for Japanese art and culture in South Florida.
