The Armory Art Center is West Palm Beach’s only community-based art center. Founded in 1986, the Armory offers arts education, exhibition, lectures and other programs. It also brings together a diverse group of people to share in their love of artistic expression.

I was never a huge fan of Miami Ink. These artists were amazing, but I’d rather not sit and watch someone get their body designed. It just looks painful. But when I read about the Miami Ink going off the air a few weeks ago, it made me kind of sad. This is a landmark in Miami on Washington Avenue that people flock to. Whether it is to take pictures and hope to capture one of the famous artists or to hope to get a new tattoo, it attracted a lot of traffic.

Taking place from May 30th – June 7th, the Brazilian Film Festival in Miami was the first festival completely dedicated to Brazilian movies. Since its inception, the Brazilian Film Festival is now in its 12th year and has grown to become an official event in the city’s cultural calendar.
