A few weeks ago I read a blog post about this new website featuring happy hours in the miami area and I’ve been watching it, and its definitely worth a post.  So after last night, it really made me wonder what makes a hotel stand out from the rest. Is it the room, the service, the incredible food? During our stay, after we checked in we were greeted by name the entire time. At the restaurant, when I forgot my purse in the car and they brought it up to our room, when we ordered room service, when the maid stopped by. Right now I am sitting in my hotel room at the Four Seasons in Miami. (Yes! This is the part of my job that I love. I’ve been jumping for joy ever since I got the invite.) David Barton Gyms take working out up a notch. With successful establishments in New York – Chelsea, New York – Uptown, Chicago, Miami at the Flamingo, his latest and largest gym will open up at Gansevoort South. Gansevoort South has created a lot of buzz lately with the opening of the resort (see my post from a few weeks ago) and with the opening of Philippe (see an excerpt from Dine Magazine).

The Sweet & Sticky Tour is Madonna’s 8th world concert tour, and will be held to promote her already popular album, Hard Candy. This album has an urban/hip-hop feel to it and features vocal appearances by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. Madonna will be touring throughout Europe and North America, and will make a stop in Miami on November 26th at the Dolphin Stadium (the only performance in Florida and merely the last on the tour schedule at the moment).
