Tea Time at Starbucks on January 13th

I met some friends out a few weeks ago for that morning caffeine fix. While we all ordered our drink of choice: tall coffee black, grande mocha, tall Vanilla Latte, nothing … What do you mean, nothing? You don’t drink coffee?! What’s wrong with you? Well, yes there are some people out there who don’t crave that nice, hot, frothy coffee fix. No worries, as Starbucks has just expanded on their drink menu - reaching out to those non-coffee drinkers with their new tea beverages. These aren’t bland beverages that you’ll take one sip and pass on, but rather some pretty tasty indulgences.

Ready to become addicted to another Starbucks specialty? Try for yourself, as on Tuesday, January 13th, Starbucks will be featuring their very own tea time. Starting at 2:00 pm, they will be complimentary tea and food samples. If you can’t make it during that time, Starbucks will also be offering a $2 special on their Tazo Tea Lattes from January 6-18 to everyone who uses their registered Starbucks Reward Card. Not a member? You really should be, as here are some of the benefits it offers:

  • It’s free
  • Select syrup and milk options are on the house when using your card
  • Free refills on brewed coffee
  • Free beverage when you purchase 1 lb or more of coffee beans
  • Get 2 hours of free AT&T wi-fi everyday

Ready to try these new tea lattes? Here’s the line-up:

  • Vanilla Rooibos Tazo Tea Latte - botanical tea blended with vanilla and spices
  • London Fog Tazo Tea Latte - Earl grey tea with Italian bergamot, vanilla and lavendar
  • Black Tazo Tea Latte - Black tea with hints of caramel, malt and black cherry
  • Berry Chai Tazo Tea Infusion - A blend of berry juices, Tazo tea and exotic spices
  • Apple Chai Tazo Tea Infusion - How does crisp apples combined with black tea and exotic spices sound?
